Why is childcare so expensive!? We just moved and we agreed I would just stay at home with kids…

Same! That is one of many reasons we decided it is best to just stay at home rather than work.. What is the point in working only to pay for child care nd not only tht but yu dnt even kno how well they taking care of yur child.. At least being at home, you kno yur child is being treated right.

you can try to get purchase of care and you will only have to pay a portion for daycare and they go of off your income

@mami2d, @crystal093 @jozell01 @mommy2babyg it's a hard decision. My so makes enough to pay the bills but doesn't make enough to save anything after bills so we were talking about me getting a job and me have a job just for money to save but after us thinking about it, it's like I wouldn't even be making anything. @jozell01 I think I probably will file for something like that, I got it for my son when he was younger and it helped a lot!! I have a son who will be 6 in October and my daughter will be 1 in September so if I got a job while my son is in school i would just have to find childcare for my daughter..but it's scary to leave her. My mom has always watched my son other than a small amount of time we put him in daycare just to be with other kids and I got the assistance for paying it, I only paid $25 a wk. but when my son was in daycare he could talk...so I felt OK because if something happened he could tell me.. 😫

Yeaa. I get tht. It is pointless for yu to work to "save" some $$ if after payn daycare, yu have no money left to put into savings... Its hard tho cuz I am sure it is tough living paycheck to paycheck nd never having any spare money 😔

@crystal093, right now I still have money left from my taxes so we have money to fall back on. If needed. It's just hard to see him stressed. 😣 & @mommy2babyg I'm not sure, you'd have to check with your state/town. I called a daycare and they mentioned the program to me so I googled it and they had "print application" so I did it and I got it. You have to be in school or working to get it. & it goes off your income. I got it when I was in college before I had to drop out, so I didn't have an income at that time so I probably got like the lowest price lol. Maybe Google daycare assistance
