Is it honestly wrong of me to ask people to not upload pictures of my daughter as soon as she's born? Like while getting weighed or while still in the hospital? My sister says that's stupid but I just don't want to. (It's fine for me to take pictures for myself and my albums but I don't want others taking them and posting them until she's out of the hospital)
I feel the same way. I don't want my daughters pic being uploaded when she's just out the womb. I rather wait a day or 2
your child, your precious memories, and you should always be allowed to share those moments yourself. I completely understand because if someone posted my newborns pics I would feel disrespected and like they were trying to steal some spot light.
@brinuh, well that made it easy for you guys! Thanks btw. & exactly I want to be the one to announce her arrival, not have a family member upload pictures of her seconds after taking her first breath 😒😒
When I had my son no pictures were posted until after we got home. I didn't even let me husband send any out because I wanted to post them first and it was only us two since we're active duty and we live far from our families
It's fine if people don't have your permission to be posting pictures ever !! I'm the same way, my child, my privacy.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
No because I'm gonna do the same thing.
