looks like mucus plug. I've been loosing mine slowly for a week now and that's what it looks like.

@jasmine98, all mom's loose the plug from my understanding so @ldonnelly will deal with it when the time comes.. and man rude people really need to be blocked off this! ugh...

Yeah, that appointment will determine it all. Don't be nervous. They thought my baby was small too because my tummy measured 5 weeks behind but my baby was measuring a week ahead. I've always had a little figure, just stay positive! You shouldn't have a problem mommy 😊

@anumaat, at my last appiontment last week they were a little concerned that he may be a little to small and he said about checking my cervix and doing a growth scan when I go back at 35 weeks in 3 weeks.

Theirs a possibility. Tell your doctor at your next appointment and they'll check your cervix. Me, I started dilating but slowly (only 1/2 cm, I'm now 1 cm) so all they did was give me two shots of betamethisone for her lung development (because everything else is already pretty much done developing, and she was over 4lbs) and they basically said she can now come when she's ready. The mucus plug really doesn't determine rather your baby will be early, or late but they'll do whatever as precaution.

Yeap that's mucus plug. If it doesn't grow back you'll be fine, it comes out piece by piece & by time babies ready to really come you'll have more with a little bit of blood. I started losing mine at 31 weeks & baby's still in there & great

Hopefully it grows back and doesn't keep coming out.

I lost some at week 28... You should be fine

I thought I would be fine if it was since there wasn't any blood, I don't go back to the doctor for 3 weeks and he said they'll check my cervix then.

I heard that sometimes when you lose part of your mucus plug, it'll grow back? I never lost any of mine but I think you will be fine. you haven't got your bloody show yet so you should be ok.
