So I'm laying here thinking there just has to be a reason why I feel physically miserable whenever I'm at home in my apartment. This is a list of symptoms that women have when dealing with mold exposure. I can't help but wonder if it's in the floors or walls. I was OOT all weekend staying in a hotel and I didn't feel like I feel now. Being in this apartment is legit the only difference.
@lumbeemama, @10yearslater0205 unfortunately it's not going to be taken as seriously as that because my husband works for the property management company that we live at . 😖 it makes me wonder how many more units are like this....
No way if your feeling effects like that from mold it's not a quick fix my friend and her whole family had to leave ASAP and the building had been labeled not livable until the walls roof etc were checked and fixed .. All I know is she had to move the repairs were gonna take forever but I think her landlord had to pay for her hotel expenses and give back her deposits .. It's notnkng to mess with .. U need to figure out who to call and I your landlord isn't a good start .. When I lived in my apt I saw the mold and reported it they came and painted over it 😳 it's to risky for them to report it
Yeah that makes sense. That would be better if you were able to get rid of it. Our place had painted over it and it started getting into the hvac system so we had been breathing it in for a while. At that point it's a lost cause. It would have been a lot better if it was in its early stages. If that's the case it'd be so much more convenient than having to move.
Thanks girl.... My mom is saying to just have it fixed where I think it's coming from, and to get the carpets deep cleaned... But my whole thing is if it's in one place, it's in another. I think these apartments were built in the 90's sometime... And they've just been "remodeled" and given the privilege of calling themselves new LOOKING, but it's the same walls, same stuff behind the walls, under the floors, etc. @lumbeemama
That's insane... I don't underestimate it though, I can literally feel the effects in my body as we speak and I don't think it's a coincidence that they're exactly the same as mold exposure. @lumbeemama thank you, I appreciate the prayer... I'm going to be praying myself because it's going to take a miracle to find a new place to live for us on such short notice.
I feel like such an f'n idiot right now, I probably could've had a virtually smooth pregnancy if it wasn't for this. I probably could've kept my job if it wasn't for me thinking that I was physically incapable anymore. Omg.... 😳 & yes, @10yearslater0205 I'm going to have my little girl checked and pray that my baby boy won't suffer any issues after birth from it.
Me SO and I lost our townhouse last year due to black mold. It caused me to develop hyperthyroid, and I wasn't able to get pregnant the whole year and a half we lived there. Within a month after moving out I got pregnant. Mold is no joke. I wish you the best and you guys are in my prayers.
Yeah, I can't have a newborn in here if that is the case. I'm barely surviving myself. I'm here 24/7 and so is my toddler... She doesn't seem to be affected but I don't want to take any chances. @10yearslater0205 @kayloniandkirksmommy
report it to your landlord and see if they can check. my daughter had serious fevers and got seriously ill when we lived in our first mold infested apartment and i ended up moving.
