i love my OH so much but it does my head in when he doesnt even try to understand, i just went to toilet and in my knickers and when i wiped there was a light brown fluid im scared its amniotic fluid or part of my show so i told OH and explained to him how dangerous it could be for me leaking amniotic fluid at this point and he just says speak to his mum about it, i dont want to, she wouldnt know she had schueduled c sections at 36 weeks on all her kids and told me she never got to experience the show and waters breaking etc, so why would i want to talk to his mum when she doesnt know what shes talking about, ahh😡

Perhaps call the hospital/midwife for advice hun? Sometimes men just like to bury their head in the sand when it comes to things like that xx

Y ah definitely call triage and tell them what happened you can sail put a pad on so you can check to see if your soaking through it x

My OH is the same... He didn't want to know anything about discharge or even my plug. I'd try to talk about it and he didn't want to know :/ I had my daughter 12 days ago and the blood coming out is very smelly and I asked him his opinion and he said he didn't want to know and made me feel disgusting

My Partner was exactly the same when we had our first child, for everything he would suggest speaking to his mom and because she is very old fashioned it pissed me off. I think it's just a case of them thinking that their mom has all the answers. I would call up triage Hun as I'm having a lot of contractions and I'm told that if I have any funny discharge or think I may be leaking fluid to go back in. It's annoying going hospital because of the wait and especially if it's nothing, but it's best to be safe xx
