After 2 months I had to give it up though because wasn't producing enough because of medical problems and meds I am on :( I felt like I failed my daughter. I spent over $100 trying to get my supply up. I wish you the best. Good luck :)

it won't hurt the baby. they give you pain meds that are safe for breastfeeding
