@janaub, we are naming this baby Preston lol, I know it isn't Hispanic or Muslim 😁 but just wanted to throw that out there since you're looking for a P name. Preston James(PJ)
We have mostly Hebrew names picked out. Girl - Jael, Zemirah, Talitha, Ophelia
Boy - Levi, Ezekiel, Isaiah
Sorry, I have no "P" names. Hope you find something you like.
@phinnybinz, yes that's a good idea , it's just hard to find a name you actually are set on lol his dad wants the name to start with a "p" which makes it even harder 😫👎🏽
For a boy: Marwan, Farid, Laith, Mustafa, Amir, Saif, Firas. For a girl: Abeer, Salma, Aya, Arya, Noor, Atyan, Haya, Enas.. If you need more I can message you :) @janaub
Those are ones I will have to think about. My son is half Hispanic, so I've been through this. I wanted a cultural name as well, his father wanted one that translated well to both English and Spanish.
@shellbell0391, lol you're so right.. But you know now a days you cannot say too much of anything without it becoming a debate.. Lol I literally payed that girl no mind.. She clearly doesn't understand or get the picture as to what I meant..
There are plenty of names that originate in America. While America is a melting pot any person who isn't being pedantic understands exactly what she means. @marissarose94
Not everyone knows what is politically correct, she didn't mean any harm by saying non-American. If you are that offended by it you could politely correct her.
Who cares holy moly she's lookin for ethnic names that are not standard white European names which were the first settlers and primarily what the US is made of. We understand that there are other cultures. It's ok. Not that big of a deal. No need to cause an argument. I swear some people are just out to stir the pot
@janaub,@halsey11 Are you guys referring to Native American? Because those are the only TRUE North American names. For example my name is Woulusi. It comes from and originated from America, my tribe, my people. The white man names come from everywhere else.
@marissarose94, well let's put it like this I'm not going for names like Mary , John or Jacob.. Which are American or normal in the us .. Now do you catch my drift ?
@halsey11, America is a melting pot of all cultures (history 101). If you look up almost every name it comes from everywhere else except America. Call me ignorant but I've never heard of or seen a name that is specifically "American" only. South America yes, These United States no.
