Change baby as soon as you get in the plane or at least make sure they are dry. Use a pacifier, breastfeed or bottle during take off and landing to protect their ears from popping, use the aisles to pace of baby gets antsy of you have too. We had to ask for a cup of ice and we put her pacifiers in it because she is teething and that helped us. Bring multiple pacifiers in case one drops and the seat belt sign is on so you aren't stuck like Chuck. Patience for rude people who will stare and look visibly frustrated when your baby cries. Toys or items to entertain baby during the flight. Out daughter just turned 3 months old and we flew 5 and a half hours with a layover thrown in there this weekend.

2 flights :( one is 2 hours the next is 1 hour & yes, I breastfeed! @miicat
