my poor baby hasn't pooped all day... anything I can give her to help ease her tummy?

Prune juice with water helps. Equal parts of both.

They say you can use 1 oz of prune or apple juice mixed with 1 oz water 1-2 times a day. I always used Apple juice because I felt like prune juice would be too rough on a little baby's intestines.

is she breastfed...if so then it can be normal to go day between pooping. otherwise, sometimes they need a little help as their mussels need to strengthen...so I took a qtip with Vaseline and insert just the tip and turn...worked right away for my daughter so be prepared. my daughter was formula fed so sometime in hate to help her.

also gripe water could help with Gass or discomfort

Mine did that and her pediatrician said its ok in newborns to only go 1 time a week. Now he recommends 1oz of pear juice mixed with 1oz water to help her

I gotta be very careful with what I give her because she has pku.. @ella1007 @keepingupwithhenry and @eskawho she's on a special formula for her pku so it could have made her constipated :(

I would call her dr before you give her anything and see what they say
