The cheap ones are just as good as the expensive ones if not better. Also, I read on a previous post of yours that you just got your iud out this week meaning you likely will not have your period the same time as normal because of the change in hormones meaning you should start tracking your cycles and using ovulation predication kits to find out when you're fertile, then two weeks after that it'd be safe to test. family dollar just like you said, or Wal-Mart. Test when you miss your period or a little before it

Either the Dollar General brand, or Wal-Mart 88c are the ones I always use. They work just as well and they're so much cheaper.

The 88cent walmart brands picked up my positive just 6 days after ovulation. Next was the clearblue weeks estimator which can read an miu as low as 10
