I think that's implantation. I got that when I was 6 weeks pregnant it wasn't much just like a little discharge

any blood should be checked.. regardless of amount or color.. Ot could be normal spotting.. but it also could be the beginnings of a miscarriage... u wont know unless u get checked.. They can check hcg levels to c if their rising correctly etc.. My mc at 5 weeks started off with brown spotting that i thought was old blood also... It wasnt.. i was miscarrying. Not trying to scare u. But u should def get it checked. especially if u see more.. and start cramping.. hope all is ok!!!!

oh and don't use tampons

some people spot. I do... I was scared at first but I went to the er. I'm fine and the baby is too. if you are cramping a new kind of pain and have bright red blood like a period go to the er. But it sounds like you have some old blood if it's brown. I'll keep my fingers crossed and a prayer in my heart for you and baby.
