starting to think the nurse may of did a sweep last night or something I've never had that intense amount of pain during a cervical exam and never had the Dr or anyone move their fingers around as much as she did and it wasn't a pleasant experience but today I'm cramping like hell and having brownish pinkinsh discharge that I've NEVER had before and this is my 4th pregnancy

Sounds like a sweep to me but it's strange that they wouldn't tell you they were doing it
@windingsmama4, yeah I was hurting pretty bad during and then spotted some blood afterwards from it... But I didn't really cramp the next day.. I lost my mucus plug and then the day I went into labor I lost my bloody mucus plug.. So it worked for me.. Some women it doesn't push the baby to come out.. So good luck

Sounds like she may have done a Membrane sweep... That's what I had done at 38+3days with my daughter and I ended up having her two days later....
And it hurt like a bitch when I got it done.

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I lost my mucus plug a day after the sweep (done at 40w6d) but I still had to be induced at 42w3d. For some people it throws them into labor shortly after and some it doesn't haha
