Unfortunately people usually think it's dirty people who get lice in reality they actually love clean hair. I had it a few times as a kid. This was how we got rid of it and it definitely works we would do two treatments in a row and then repeat 7 days later and they would all be gone. The mayo and cap suffocate the lice and they die off pretty quickly. Also was all clothes in hot water if there are any pillows or stuffed animals bag them up in a big plastic bag that you can completely seal and keep them in their a week before washing them in hot water to make sure all lice are dead there as well they die pretty quick due to not having a food source.

mayo works so well. i got it when i was a little girl and we couldn't afford all that stuff so we put mayo on my hair and left it in overnight and they died

I was going to try the conditioner way and comb them out and I'll maybe do the mayo treatment over night. @naomiedgd @bugmama

This might be gross but ive seen a 2 liter of coke work great! Wash your hair with it and dont rinse.

listerine. use the original or blue listerine. saturate your hair and put a shower cap on for a couple of hours to kill them. then come the nits and dead bugs out and repeat in 2 days. thats the only thing that will work for me

Well I just did the conditioner combed excessively through my hair my bf and I both did it. Then I washed it out and blow dried the hell out of my head. ( the heat is suppose to help kill them) then I he my bf look through my hair again and he said he didn't see anything and wasn't sure if he even saw anything combing. Now my hair is up pinned and hair sprayed the shit out of it to help prevent from getting anymore! We are washing everything again in the washer sprayed rid on the beds and pillows again and he is going to comb through his daughters heads again. This shit is stressful! Sometime my head does get itchy and it's not lice. But with this all going on I wouldn't doubt if I did catch a couple. Even my bfs mom has to treat her head cause they saw a couple on her head too. Such a nightmare really. These little girls heads were infested and who knows how long they actually have had it and it went unnoticed/treated

My bf got Rid for them. I might have my midwife write me a prescription for something to use to be on the safe side and I know the little bastards will die from it! Instead of constantly doing all this other stuff idk if the bugs and eggs will be killed if we aren't getting them with the comb. @kandyrhym
