Any advise?!

Been told by my employer that I can not wear my maternity leggings to work anymore as staff have moaned about it. But I don't know where I can get a pair of black trousers from that'll fit me as none of my previous pairs fit anymore!

Takes the piss considering I can't help that my clothes don't fit anymore and I can't afford at the moment to go out and get any anyway!!

No I'm not, I think that they are trying to push me until I leave on my own accord so they don't have to pay my maternity, or do any of the paperwork for the risk assessment xx

I have a uniform top nothing has ever been said about trousers to me! It's not in my contract either as i looked through it and doesn't say a thing about it! My boss said it made me look like 'trailer trash' 👊🏻

I bought my maternity trousers from debanhams for work as leggins wasn't part of our uniform. However if the guys are wearing skinny skins & you don't have a set uniform code (check your contact) I'm pretty sure you could take this further & say your going to make a complaint for being discriminated against.

I work in a beachside cafe! It is discrimination! The guys here all wear super skinny jeans! Xx

what job do you do that means you have to wear trousers instead of leggings @sarah2112 ??? I think this is a discriminatory case. I would argue this and throw terms like discrimination, external advice etc around. xx

I know! It's the only thing that I have that fits me and doesn't put to much pressure around my stomach like my other clothes it's the only thing I feel comfortable in! But I did speak to my boss and say look I can't afford them right now but I was just told that I will have to get some on payday! And I hate my job, they still haven't done my risk assessment and I told them I was pregnant at 8 weeks I'm now 15 weeks and still nothing!!!!

Why the blooming hell are people complaining about maternity leggings?! How pathetic! I'd have another word with your boss explaining that your clothes no longer fit and start crying and say you can't afford new ones, by the sounds of it your being discriminated against xx
