so I had my bloody show and was dilated at 1cm Thursday and my friend is suggesting I go in since I had my bloody show already I'm feeling cramps here and there but not something really painful

I went right after my bloody show. And I was like 2cm water still intact but they still kept me cause a hour later i started dilating more I was in full blown labor and didn't even know
that's what I told her but she said that she didn't have her water break that they broke it for her cuz she was dilating after the bloody show but no water break @ashalay88
Dr's usually recommend you wait until, your water breaks, or contraction are 4-5 mins apart regularly, or you're bleeding like you're having a period.
I had my bloody show early this week and have dilated to a 3. No progression since, so they don't keep you. Good luck!
I'd definitely call your doctor first and see what they say
