Other than your OB, how many people (staff wise) are in the delivery room during actual labor?

How many do you want? You have every right to kick people out... I had my two nurses & my husband with me for my 5hr laboring. Then when it came time to push a doctor came & if I remember correctly 1 or 2 more nurses

I had two nurses my ob my mom and hubby

@mrsthig, oh okay. I wasn't sure what the normal thing was. I knew it would be at least one nurse but I wasn't sure if it was multiple or how they do it.

Depends on your hospital rules as well. During labor our hospital allows anyone to be in there, when you start pushing technically ours allows 3 support people however when I delivered I had my mom, dad, husband, MIL, midwife, nurse, pediatric nurse, and a EMT student in the room lol

We had 4 or 5 total when I delivered my son so I'm guessing the same for my daughter due to it being the same hospital.

first time, just the OB, Nurse and a student, along with my mom. Second time, the OB, I'm not sure if the lady was a nurse or an OB but she was helping more than the actual OB, and the nurse, also my MIL. so each time 4people.

well other than the 2 obs..I had 6 nurses and my husband

I had my midwife, the nurse, my boyfriend and my photographer
