Yes completely normal. Mild spotting is also normal its called implantation spotting. You'll have mild period like cramping for awhile as your body adjusts and your uterus expands
with my first pregnancy I miscarried and actually cramped less. I am now 28 weeks and constantly cramped the first trimester. the doctor said it was my uterus expanding.

I cramped around 4-5 weeks and am perfectly fine now and baby is healthy :) totally normal :)
