I have a question about circumcision. My son was circumcised the day we left the hospital. My OBGYN did it and said to remove the gauze after 24 hours. But when i took him to the pediatrician she said to leave it on until it comes off on its own. For those of you who had your boys circumcised, what were u told to do?

was told to take it off. and they gave me about 10 Lil packs with gauze that is soaked in Vaseline to wrap back around it each change. after I ran out they said put Vaseline on the diaper where his penis will be so it don't stick to the diaper as it heals.
I changed the gauze each change with new Vaseline on it
it will come off on it's own put some a&d ointment on the bandage if it's stuck then remove if yhu take it off keep ointment on it
