Any ladies with an anterior placenta on here?? Found out I have 1 and just wondering at what point u started feeling proper kicks and movements? I'm 20+2 and only felt a couple of little things! Sonographer at scan said this was down to anterior placenta as it acts as a cushion of sorts against the kicks/movements! xx

My midwife agreed with them! Oh well as I said I'm sure I'll feel something soon. He's moving about loads when we have seen scans so I know he's ok. @ranique
Yeah they tell me that as well but my midwife say don't listen to them.. @jodynico
I'm just going by what my sonographer and midwife said hun. Apparently having an anterior placenta can cushion the kicks as they kick the placenta rather than the mother directly! @ranique x
To be honest it doesn't matter whether u have a anterior r not u still feel movements when it's right.. Cause my baby been proper moving from 18 weeks.. And they get stronger at 20 weeks
I felt my first real kick at 20 weeks in my right side. Baby loves kicking that side and I certainly don't have any problems feeling them now at 30 weeks.ha.x
@jodynico, i have one this time buts it not at all affected me feeling movements. shes always moving about. xx

Thanks huni. I'm getting so impatient! Lol! dieing to feel him properly! Do you know if it's too early for him to be kicking my ribs?? I have been getting little pains right by where sonographer said his feet where the other day right on my rib an it seems to ease when I move around! (Not gas though) xx

I felt my first kicks at 24 weeks and they were really light xx
An anterior placenta does cushion you too some extent and people who have them (like myself too) do feel lighter movements kicks than someone with a posterior placenta. But I started feeling movements from 18-20 weeks and now at 25 weeks can feel my little boy kick all the time xx
