Umm I just ask and they can usually tell if she's head down. She's been head down since 20 weeks.

So if they find the heart beat low does that mean the baby is head down? Last time he found it by my belly button. @autumnsmomma125

my Dr does one last sonogram at 36 weeks to check position and weight of baby.

i get an ultrasound at every appointment its awesome..something the clinic provides throughout your pregnancy!my baby boy was head down at 33 then went the following week & he was breech again..

My doctor just pushed down on my stomach to feel.

I got one at 32 weeks

Most doctors wont, they will feel, and check where the heartbeat is to determine where the baby is positioned. Insurance usually doesnt cover more than a couple ultrasounds unless its medically necessary or high risk.

He said that they can determine if they are head down by where their heartbeat is located.

My doctor felt around on my entire belly at my last appointment (Thursday) to see if she was head down and she was, but her head was in my hip area.

I got mine around 36 weeks but I was high risk so it depends on your doctor

I'm not getting another one. Only got anatomy that's it. So some don't check
