Okay moms I have a questions! I plan on breastfeeding my daughter but my godmom said I should only breastfeed at night and give her formula durning the day so when I go back to school and work she will be used to the formula. Did any of you do this?

You could if you want but I would pump so she can have breast milk during the day and not have to have formula, but that is just me. When I did both i lost my milk supply

breast is best. if you are able to pump than try and pump to leave your baby milk while your gone.

If you want to breastfeed, you should delay supplementing with formula for as long as possible. Your supply is maintained by baby feeding, so if you start out not breastfeeding only, your breasts may not be stimulated enough to continue a good supply. After you've been breastfeeding for a while, then you could try cutting back to just at night. Until then I'd recommend pumping during the day. ☺

i would try pumping because breast milk changes thru out the day. If i rememver right morning milk has the most nutrition for the baby.
