Anyone have any suggestions for swollen nipples? It hurts to pump but I have to do it and it just makes it worse

This is the nipple balm I have, it's a little pricey but it helps sooo much, I don't use anything else!

I think they would since it would bring swelling of the whole breast down

@emkasting, I have the palmers brand nipple balm so I'll try and see if that helps

@emkasting, I actually have those already. I used them when I had a clogged milk duct and they helped. Would freezing them help with swollen nipples?

And honest company nipple balm, it helps with sore, cracked, swollen, painful etc nipples and I absolutely love it

You can ice your nipples to help with the swelling, & use nipple cream before you start pumping. It helps reduce the friction and make it a little more comfortable. I never pump without it.
