my daughter does have pku.. This is treatable by a very strict diet that she'll be on for the rest of her life. pku is a rare metabolic disease where lily is either missing or has and enzyme that isn't working properly to change the amino acid phenylalanine into other substances, if left untreated the phe builds up in the blood and can cause problems. other than a special diet my baby girl will grow up to be a normal healthy little girl :)
