When can I add cereal to breast milk. My daughter is 5 days old and drinks 4-5oz and I think that's way too much but she's not satisfied with just 2-3oz

my niece drank 6oz at a time when she was first born and now shes almost 2 months old, so she drinks even more. if that's what she needs to get full, then that's what she needs. :)

Solids are not recommended (unless you consult a doctor) until 6 months. If your baby is not satisfied then you should offer more milk. Babies cannot be overfed on breastmilk. It metabolises faster than formula.

my som was 5 days old and eating 5 oz and his dr saud as long as he kept it down it was fine
