I went to l&d this morning. they told me I was a 2 and 60% effaced. they said in just having Braxton hicks. how the hell am I having Braxton hicks if it hurts so bad I can't get up to go p!

since last night midnight. theyre definitely stronger but some aren't as long as other's. they sent me home and told me to take Tylenol and benadryl.

Because you aren't in labor yet. Braxton hicks prepare your body for labor. Real contractions become regular and continue until the baby is born.
