When do babies recognize their mothers?

My kids always knew me from other people. My daughter was born at 33 weeks and I didn't get to see her for two days and the first time I held her she know I was her mom and not just a nurse. All her stats stabilized as soon as I held her, the nurse had held her for 5 minutes before I got her

My baby knew like right away. Because of scent. A few months for visually, though.
