Got my cervix checked today and now im only 1 cm dilated. Is that bad for being 38 weeks?! 😕

no ! some women don't dilate, consider yourself lucky lol. i got checked at 36+4 and was only 1cm

😂😂 awh ! most women don't make progress until right before labor begins or they have to have medicine to help. better start walking or bounce on a yoga ball. I've been bouncing more and trying to have sex more than once a week lol

You can dilate from completely closed to 10 and ready to push all in a matter of hours! There are some women sitting at 4-5cm for WEEKS. Don't get discouraged.

@mommy2vaijordinkerri, @darianweaver I feel like since being this far I should be making a lot of progress and be a certain cm dilated. I know it doesn't work out like that I just don't wanna be induced at 41 weeks..I wanna experience her coming by herself

Everybody is different, girl. I'm stuck at 4cm. You could go into labor TOMORROW at 1cm, or go to 41 weeks. It's all up to when baby decides or you get induced.

@darianweaver, I rather be at four then one, it just sounds better lol but yes, all up to the baby now

i went at my 37 week checkup, now im 38 weeks Wednesday and im not dialated at all! i go next week at my 39 week checkup since my ob is out of town this week so i dont know if i am actually this week. but my body isnt doing nothing for me lol
