Hey ladies! I have a question for you experienced mommies. My son has thrush and he's on nystatin but it doesn't seem to be clearing up. The women in my family is saying to use a pee diaper and wipe it in his mouth. I can see that being done with a cloth diaper but not with a conventional diaper. Has anyone done this for babies with thrush and out you were using regular diapers what did you do to accomplish the goal?

My daughter was on the same medicine. It didn't help. It really just has to run its course. I took a warm wet rag and rubbed in her mouth and let it run its course while monitoring her temp and giving Tylenol. I have heard the pee diaper remedy for the pink eye but never for thrush

Mine was too at first it didn't seem like it was working but eventually it went away. I agree with @alleneia u just got to let it run is course it will go away

Yes @babykamya2016 I had to learn that. It took about 2 weeks for hers to clear up

@alleneia, @babykamya2016 It's hard to be patient because it seems like it hurts him. I can't stand to see him in pain. Plus, he has colic too. Thanks ladies!

@torie_mspruitt, Poor baby.. I hate that :( just stay on top of his temp and give Tylenol. It's a process unfortunately
I know I hated my daughter had it, thankfully my son hasn't gotten it @babykamya2016
