Question for you moms out there. I have a 2 week old and I usually feed him around 3 oz. and he does fine, doesn't spit any of it up and let's me know when he's had enough then falls asleep. However the lady at wic told me not to do that. So I started giving him just 2 and he's been super fussy and acts like he's still hungry. Should I go back to 3 oz or stay at 2 oz?

@caprisun04, I would personally just go back to 3 oz

Go back to the 3 if that's what helps him sleep and not fuss, you can take their opinions into consideration but in the end you know what's best for him.

you know your baby better than someone who sees him 1 time every few months

Honestly you know when your baby is satisfied. I would go back to 3oz if it makes your baby happy.

The ladies at WIC don't know your child only you do. They tell me my almost 14 month old could be having. At least 8 ounces one feed. My lucky if he drinks 4 at once. Because he had his own issues going on health wise. You know best momma

I say feed him what makes him full. I asked my sons pedi if I was giving him too much when he was a newborn, and he said if he's asking for it, give it to him. Do what makes baby happy and full :)
