Anyone else suffering from a really achy painful leg/s? I've taken paracetomol, I'm currently sat with it raised on two cushions and it's still really painful. All of my knee and thigh is throbbing! Slightly swollen but only as much as the other side I'd say. I might phone doctors when they open! I'm worried but just hoping this is just another common pregnancy symptom!

Is it one leg? Does it feel hot or is it more swollen than the other? There red flags u need to speak to someone today if so. Maybe get it checked. If all is well then I'd say you either have a terrible case of rls or baby maybe pressing on a nerve in your back. When I was 16 weeks I had the most horrendous lower back pain that made both my legs feel like they were being crushed. All I could do was take painkillers lay on my side or back which you won't be able to do and place a heat pad on my lower back alternating down the back of my legs. But if it's that bad and your late on in pregnancy it could be pre labour pains. I also had horrendous leg pains when they tried to induce me at 37w last time. They ended up giving me a spinal block as I have a bad back and prolapsed disc anyway.which was making my leg pain worse. But like I said if it inc any of the above id get seen today

@suzie80, thank you for your reply. I managed to get back to sleep and have just woken up! I took a paracetomol and it did ease the pain slightly but can feel it creeping back now I've woken up. I would say it is slightly swollen but no more than the other leg. it's not particularly warm. It's just a real throbbing dull ache! My back is hurting too, again a constant dull ache but not as bad as my leg. I'm not sure weather to ring doctors. I don't think it's worth a hospital visit but maybe docs? xxx

I'd ring the doc but sounds like it is nerves in your back radiating to your leg. The pain for me was like crushing pain in my bones and my thighs hurt. It did go but I just had to rest for days
