@mylittlemonkey13, I was the same way, I waited till Christmas eve to tell my mom, and I knew before thanksgiving.

I'm in college right now, and I was super nervous to tell my mom too! But they took it way better than expected and are excited. And even if they don't take it well, honesty will help your relationship more than avoiding the topic.

I was 19 when I got pregnant with my first turned 20 a month after having him. I was scared to tell my mom as well and she ended up super excited my now husband and I had been together almost 4 years and my parents adore him. The person who actually took it the hardest was my grandmother who is very religious and wanted me of course to be married first. It took her 2 months to accept, but she wouldn't change it for the world and now 5 years later expecting my second my family is so supportive. We actually found out my husband has cancer 2 months ago and going through this pregnancy has been extremely difficult but they've been there since day one and are helping with the necessities for the baby. Just breathe and do it. She may get upset for a short time but she will get over it and except it eventually. She doesn't really have a choice.

I'm 19 and I told my parents when I was 20weeks. They took it surprisingly well my mom was super excited and my dad wasn't stoked or anything but he wasn't super angry

I think a big thing is just make sure to tell them and that they hear it from you, don't let them find out the hard way.. Because at least with my parents they get hurt if they feel like I can't talk to them about things

I was 18 when I got pregnant with my oldest, I thought my mom would freak but she was actually happy! even if she isn't super excited at first she will get there :) sooner the better too, she might feel hurt more if she knew you were hiding it.

I was 19 when I got pregnant with my son I turned 20 two months before he was born my parents were both very happy supprizingly

I'm 20 and I'm 34 weeks . My parents moved to TN my senior of high school and I haven't lived with them since but when I got pregnant I went down to tell them in person. My parents are really strict and very Christian . My mom wasn't thrilled bit realized that it is what it is and started focusing on the fun parts of a new baby rather than being upset about it. My dad went to the garage three times to process the news and now that she is almost here he is actually super excited and made business connections in Michigan so he has excuses to come up and see her more. It has actually brought us closer.
