my SO tells me I'm not allowed to allow my son to play with dolls if he wants to -_- like excuse me ? my son won't be banned from a toy because its socially looked upon as a girl toy !!!!!!!!!! if were in the store and he's interested in the doll, and I feel its appropriate, my son will get it like -_- am I wrong ?

Men feel like it's wrong to try and demasculinize their sons in any way. Personally I think the child should pick, I played with boy toys when I was younger, I fished and was a little Tom boy. I loved my Barbies and girl toys too. But I had 2 brothers I played with all the time. And I liked doing 'manly' stuff with my dad. I came out perfectly fine! 🤗

My son played with my daughters dolls and my daughter never touched them. He was gentle and loving. I gave my daughter a doll to play with and she threw it. Lol they turned out just fine. :)

Not wrong at all! A little girl is allowed to play with trucks and things that are considered boy toys why isn't it allowed for a boy to play with "girl" toys. I have never understood that concept in some people's head
