would they induce early due to severe pain? I'm talking 37/38 weeks
I'd ask but it's up to each midwife or doc. I was dosed up on pain relief too in a wheelchair couldn't walk at all and they were having to give me hydrotherapy and hoist me in the hospital pool. They refused to do anything apart from offer morphine. My pelvis had separated and twisted and I was subluxating my joints frequently. I now have a prolapsed bladder, prolapsed disc in my spine and nerve damage in my spine too. I get so much pain. They have refused me anything until I get to my due date where they will then induce me. But I've had two inductions before both practically failed after 4 days and they requested I had a section. Some docs are very unsympathetic. My midwife said its because so many women request a sweep or induction prior to 38 w for a variety of things inc medical issues. But unless it's causing baby issues they usually refuse. I ended up developing PE in two of my 4 preg and had to have interventions so I'm doubtful I'll make it to 40 anyway. I feel for u x
there is no way they leave me like this, there having to give me morphine to calm the pain :( @suzie80
I doubt it but u could ask. The only time I've been swept at 37 w was prior to an early induction due to pre eclampsia
they are me if i still knt cope with the pain in my left ribs @lolliigee
it was their suggestion although i am sticking it out to the end.. fingers crossed. xx
