No matter what I do, how many pillows I have surrounding me, nothing stops me from eventually rolling on to my back when i fall asleep. I wake up multiple times a night so I try to reposition myself but almost every time i wake up im on my back. :( it makes me scared that something bad is going to happen.

I slept on my back my whole first pregnancy. I just made sure I was at a slight incline so I wasn't flat. my OB said as long as I feel okay the baby is okay.

My dr is really against any other postion other than laying on your left side. Which i dont get because my first pregnancy there wasnt this many rules, they just wanted you to be comfortable. but with this pregnancy this dr is basically saying screw you being comfortable. @hannahk0624

Unless there is a legitimate reason for him saying that like a medical problem that you or the baby have.. I would stay comfortable. but.. I don't want to give you the wrong advice.. my OB said yeah it could be bad to be flat but just make sure you're elevated so that's what I did. I'm sorry :(

They don't want you to lay on your back because the baby can cut of the main artery it happened to me my hands and legs went numb and I couldn't see . it's mostly when the baby starts getting fat on it tho

Don't worry too much mama your body knows laying on your back is bad for you which is why you wake up. Maybe try to get the pregnancy pillow and see if that helps? It def helped with me!
