Why does my one month old want to eat 3 ounces every 2 hours?!?! We're doing good at 3 ounces every 3 hours. Anyone else going through this. It is even at night. Can I start her on cereal yet? (Not in a bottle)

shes probably just going thru a growth. and no a 1month old should NOT have cereal unless the doctor says so.
@sincere325, does it work for sleep? And do you think I can do it at a month old?
My son is the same way, I put a baby spoon full of oatmeal cereal in his bottles to fill his stomach.
How much does everyone's 6 months old eat? Alaura will be 6 months in 2 days and they said she needs more formula? she eats 4 ounces every 3 hours..
In desperate need of a rice cereal/formula mix that will satisfy my 3 month olds hunger for longer than an hour and a half... I've been feeding her 5 ounces every hour and a half to two hours and she's been puking like crazy. It's gotten out of hand. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh yes. I started my son out at 2 weeks with a pinch. Of course the doctors go against it because they can get constipated or gain weight too fast so I just monitored his bowels and he was fine. My son has been sleeping all night for at least 7 hours since then.
