So Im 5 weeks postpartum and I have this weird looking string hanging out of my vagina. It almost looks like a tampon string. Its definitely attached to something. Anyone else had this?? Im gonna call my ob in the am.

Yes!! I also freaked out when I saw it. But I went in and the Dr. Didn't seem concerned, I just had my daughters dad cut the part that was sticking out.

Definitely a stitch! Do not mess with it! Call the Dr in the morning. After a vaginal delivery with my first. I had stitch that also hung out.
girl Google had me thinking I had stomach cancer when the doctors couldn't figure one why I was in so much pain and so sick....I was just pregnant lol and yes let's pray that's what it is.
I would think it's a stitch. Don't mess with it. Talk to your doctor tomorrow.
lol I did. and a lot of people who had the same said it ended up being an internal stitch. lets hope thats the case. @zyandi Ive already been to the dr twice and everything was normal both times so Im prayin a stitch is what this is. I usually ignore google haha

yea, I noticed it when I was in the bath tonight examining. It only hangs out when I lay back. @zyandi kinda freaked me out.

Went to the bathroom yesterday, looked down and there were TWO STRINGS coming out of my vag!!! Thinking it was a defective tampon with two strings, I pulled it out! NOPE!!! Two tampons were in there!!! How the hell does that happen?!? O_o

So my iud string when I sit down and stick my finger in just a tad I feel the string n it's right there near my vaginal hole. Is that normal ?
