I was 3cm dilated as of this morning and I just lost my mucus plug 😳😳 should I head to the hospital?! Nervous first timer that doesn't want to be one of those that goes to the hospital over every little thing

@joleen23, just went to wee and pieces of MY mucus plug came out😬 looks like we may give birth together or a day or 2 apart!!!

@joleen23, Never tmi hun don't worry. You should sleep on a piece of plastic under ur butt btw, (if u don't wanna wet the bed) water could break during the night
Good to know @winnie633 thank you! My plug was bloody (sorry tmi I know) but my contractions aren't consistent
If ur bleeding then baby is very close, be prepared, i've had friends bled before contractions came and baby came soon afterwards@joleen23
yes, the dr checked me this morning and was optimistic saying he'd probably see me before my next appointment. When I got home, I started spotting then just before bed I lost my plug! I'm about 25 mins away
@joleen23, how do you know ur dialated 3cm? have you been to the doctor this morning? Also how far away are you from the hospital?
Nope. Your contractions need to be 5 mins apart or your water breaks
