Some people shower, clean up, eat something really quick before they go, which I personally will probably do! Lol

Right away baby usually has to be born with 24 hours to not risk infection or possible death if your fluid gets too low.

When my water broke they told me to feel free to take my time. Mine broke at 1:15pm and I didn't go to the hospital until 3:30pm. They told me to take a shower and get myself ready first
