Has anyone been diagnosed with anemia? If so do you deal with a lot of dizzy spells and being lightheaded?

Yeah stay on it girl @ynm1990 I had no symptoms but dizzy spells and lighthead

The only symptom I had was that I always wanted to eat ice.

I was diagnosed but I didn't have any symptoms

I'm really scared I know I'll have another blood transfusion 😩 I just don't want to go on bed rest

I'm anemic. And I'm suppose to take iron pills every day. It used to only be one a day, but now they upped it to two.

Yes & yes. I got dizzy today even though I'm on iron supplements.

I had it with my son but I also had preeclampsia but I don't have preeclampsia now just anemia and it seems so much worse. My dr really doesn't want me to work because of my dizzy spells. I'm getting my supplements this weekend so I'm praying that will help

I did with my daughter. I had it so bad I had to get iron infusions before I had her because nothing was working to help my iron go back up.

start taking iron pills and make sure ur taking ur vitamins it made me tired and draggy I also had to have ice it was no discussion about it

Yes & yes. If my iron is too low in a walking zombie. Same with my 1 year old. I used to have to shower sitting down because it was so bad.
