so how do they "sweep your membranes"? I'm so scared but beyond ready to have my son

They basically go as far as they can and push while they 'scrap' the lining of your wall. Feels like a intense period cramp that last 10 seconds. I cramped for half hour after but nothing that I couldn't handle.

I'm not entirely sure. I didn't ask many questions. I was 40 weeks and wanted to try anything besides them breaking my water

It did but not right away. I had mine done on February 26 I think that was a Friday and had little man on the 29
