ok so my son turns one next week and has only his two bottum front teeth. it's hard to give him solids since he has no teeth so I'm giving him his baby foods, and ofcourse little amounts of regular food but still giving him formula. is it ok to still continue with formula after he turns one? atleast till he gets more teeth in

@jenn61115, oh I know he ate a small piece of hamburger patty the other day his uncle gave him and I thought It would be too big but he chewed on it till it was small enough to swallow 😊

You'd be surprised at how hard their gums are before teeth! Try mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese green beans. Things like that that aren't to hard and easily smashed:) but my 2nd child had formula 3-4 months after her 1st bday she refused cows milk.

Yup. They can still have formula after one. You could try looking up baby led weaning. That's what I do with my daughter and she only has her two bottom teeth

My son is 14 months tomorrow and we can hardly get him to eat solid foods on his own. We want to wean him off formula by 18 months and have been trying to get him to snack on small finger foods and he mainly just plays with it or throws it off his tray. Sometimes he will eat it if we give it to him but most of the time he shakes his head no. Any ideas or tips on how to get him more interested in eating? He will eat yogurt bites and cherrios on his own but that's about it.
