is that the only way? my friend got dreads and i told her beforehand that to get rid of them she will have to shave her head and she said no theres another way lol

mine are locked pretty tight, I'm way past the point of no return lol I might be able to keep an inch or two of length bc they aren't locked at the roots yet

@savvysmom oh yeah probably, I mean, if you change your mind in the first couple weeks you can maybe comb them out but then you're just left with damaged broken uneven hair lol but I've had mine for like 6 months and there is no other way than shaving lol

I know of people combing mature dreads out after several years, just takes time and patience.

Just search "combing out mature dreadlocks" on youtube. Your hair length is salvageable. It will look like you're losing alot of hair, but thats just the hair that wasnt able to shed like it normally would have if your hair wasnt in locks.
