its when they tie your cervix.. so you wont have premature babies and when your baby is full term they untie it so u can hip into labor and have a full term baby @evieru,

With my first daughter I had it removed at 36w dilated to 4 but didn't go into labor until 41+6

I get this one removed next Friday so we'll see how that goes

It's not bad at all honestly. Just a little uncomfortable. You may spot a little bit after tho. @itsababyboy16
