Do babies not smile thag much at 2 weeks ?? Mine only smiles when sleeping .... Is my baby just a grumpy baby ?!

Nope. My daughter didn't start smiling until about 4 months. At 2wks they smile because of gas

I've read somewhere that it takes a while for them to actually intentionally smile. Usually when newborns smile, its not an actual smile. Just a face that they make amongst several new.

Can't remember the weeks when they do begin to.

3 months is when I noticed she would smile more and then by four months I can get her to smile so easily.

Every baby is different mine was smile from the moment she was born sleeping or awake but when they're born it's more of a reflex m rather than a true smile I got real ones at 2 months when she Ike up more to play and coo

My son is almost 3 months (he'll be 3 months July 15th) and he's smiling already
