can you get a false positive pregnancy test? I took it but saw it was negative and threw it in the trash. About 30 mins later I went to throw something and saw a positive so I freaked out. This has never happened to me so I don't want to get excited if it's nothing. I'm going to take another test later one today buy was just wondering if this has happened to anyone.

They are voided after 10 minutes. So yes you can get a false positive from a pregnancy test after 10 minutes or longer.
on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage.

So frer test have been given a bad name because it's giving false positives. Do you all think that could have happened to me? Googles got me paranoid. I have pregnancy symptoms. 😩 has anyone experienced a false positive with frer?
