Why Is My Baby Struggling to Latch While Breastfeeding?
Breastfeeding is a nightmare since last night 😭😓 he won't latch on for long periods or gets agitated and pulls off or struggles to get on which hasn't happened before as we've done so well I've expressed a bottle incase this happens again tonight any advice on how to help this?

@holliesinead, he could have wind hun. Jacob is like this when he has wind. i asked health visitor and she advised giving him infacol b4 his feeds as its suitable from birth x
Ask your health visitor about a lactation specialist or a breast feeding group (I know there's one at the cafe in the park in Watford not sure what day). Get it sorted as early as poss X X
Try laying down side by side and feeding him like that or the football hold xxx
Sounds like he may have reflux hun, they can get fussy on the boob with that :) Or maybe your let down isnt fast enough and he is getting frustrated? Babies can always suck out more than you can express hun xxx
Get someone to check bub does not have mouth thrush too
keep at it hun. the more you express/try to feed, it will.come through better. its so tiring though, i feel for you xx
@charliebrown89, I do feel like my milk isn't coming through as much today took me so long to express 😫
perseverance hun. i didn't have any when Melody struggled to latch on. maybe try a different position? xx
Expressing is no clear indication of supply . Drink lots of water and oat milk. Also cluster feeding is normal around 2-4 weeks x
