Day 7 since birth and I feel like a pumping machine with constant pain from being engorged.
wow and ouch I'm glad to hear it corrects itself. how long did yours take to fix? @dohmommy2016
I totally understand. my son was born at 6.5 pounds and my boobs are an E when not engorged so he had alot of trouble latching on. I stopped pumping and would do heat then showers and hand express then to make it easier I would get some milk flowing and put my son on. It's difficult at first but then my supply started to fix itself!
thank you í feel the same way with his tiny mouth. and í hope í just dont get sick from it @mommyof2boys248
@almiita, I had the same issue with my youngest he was a preemie 5 lbs 12 oz. He could barely latch due to me being so big and him being so tiny. I would pump a little and then breast feed or help by squeezing the nipple in his mouth to help him til he can latch. He will get it, it might be difficult for a bit. It will only be like this for a bit more and then it will be easy.
yeah a lot but because there so engorged my son can't latch properly @malinaa215
yeah but my routine is ridiculous i take warm showers. pump to relieve most of the milk and try to breastfeed or else my son can't latch from being to large. @mommyof2boys248
and how can í control it my son has trouble eating because I'm too big and i feel he doesn't get enough milk but i want to avoid getting mastitis or blocked ducts😢 @dohmommy2016
I know with the engorgement it helps me to pump but be careful doing thst because it's telling your body to create more than you need which will keep making you engorged that is what happened to me and I'm still having issues due to it. I have continually blocked ducts and have had mastitis already and my son is only 7 weeks.. hand expressing, warm compresses, and warm showers help so much.
Mine is alot better but still get plugged ducts but alot less often
