I know this is really gross and I'm so sorry but I'm freaking out! I'm 39 weeks today and I got check to see if I had dilated today at the doctor. I hadn't, not even softened. Ever since I got checked I have been having really light bleeding, she's moving around so I'm sure she's fine but its got a slimy consistency. One time I wiped and it was thick kind of like a clot but slimy. I just peed again and it wasn't as much but slimy. Could it be pieces of my mucus plug or should I call my doctor???

mucus plug. and just because you're losing it, it doesn't mean you're going to go into labor just yet. some woman lose theirs and don't have their baby for another week or so afterwards
