I was just told I am getting induced Sunday night at 10pm so more than likely he said I should have the baby Monday, I am also wondering the process and scared of the pain, don't know what to expect. I am not dilated at all 😔

@reeney, well when I tore it was like when you split your lip open. That was the only pain I was in. The contractions were just really uncomfortable. It just felt like I had to push. It was just alot of pressure in my butt

I didn't know what to expect lol he was literally like we are going to schedule you for induction k bye lol no explanation nothing just bye have a nice day 😂@savvylynn1 and awe don't think how long just enjoy your pregnancy! and looking forward to all the fun things and memories that you'll have to look back and laugh at your self about lol

aww don't be! be excited! you're so close to meeting your baby! I'm jealous I'm barely 19 weeks😩 I'm due thanksgiving so I have awhile haha I wish I was as close as you @reeney

39 weeks almost 40 @nevaehsmommy87 and @babynessa I wasn't given a date today just that they would call :/

I'd call first thing in the morning before it gets to busy!

So I got induced and pretty much they check you in, hook you up to monitors that keep track of your baby's heart rate and your contractions. Ask you a bunch of like family health history and everything. Then they will start you on a drip with the meds the help start contractions. They start with a small amount and then up it like every hour. They broke my water when I got dilated to 4cm. Ummmmm the nurses check on you and are always asking how your feeling and if you need medication for the pain.

My induction was pretty smooth. Got checked in at 9am, started the drip at 11:30am. I didn't start feeling the contractions until about 5:30pm, but they wernt painful just annoying because it felt like I had to take a huge #2. At 6pm I started pushing and my baby was born at 6:23. I was never in any pain...the only time I was in any pain was when she started to crown and I had a minor rip, but that was becuse she had her hand up in her face.

When I was induced I was already dialated to a 6. They gave me medicine to start my contractions and broke my water. I was in labor for 21.5 hours. I was given my induction date a week before I had to go in and be induced.

I was only dialated to 1/2 cm to a 1cm. wasn't scheduled for an induction.

@nevaehsmommy87, I've been so drained recently too:( but I was told my cervix is in position and I was still a 1 so he told me they would call to schedule me for it but didn't get to explain it much :( and OK should I call first thing in the morning or wait a bit

@reeney, oh ok if they don't call u by tomorrow you should call them just so your joy forgotten! I wish I was dilated 😩 I haven't had anything happen! Today I just slept most of the day I'm so exhausted

I was told that she would call me with a date and time. and they were so busy I was rushed out. 😣 so idk what to expect? I've been 1 cm for like weeks :/ @nevaehsmommy87 @rrose492

They should of have you a date right then! I had my appointment last week and Doctor scheduled me one for this week ! She gave me the date and time at my appointment ! I would call them and ask for details

honestly it depends on your body. I got induced at 11pm and gave birth to my daughter at 2:44 pm the next day. as soon as they gave me the pitocin I dilated really fast. my advice is get the epidural before the pitocin. if you plan on getting and epidural.
