Alright getting the IUD need to know if it's going to hurt!! Mirena or something like that

When I got mine done it was uncomfortable and I cramped for a few days but it was tolerable. I plan on getting it again in a few weeks, I loved mine.

I didn't have a period the whole time I had it. I had mine in for 4 years, got it removed and got pregnant within 3 months. That's the biggest one to me. I never felt it or anything once it was in. Never had a problem with pain or anything.

I heard it keeps you from losing weight but then i read you gain weight.. Lol is that true @jacesterlingsmommy

Eh, I'm sure everyone is different. I never actively tried to lose weight but I didn't gain. I've maintained for several years. I'm actually lighter now after having my son. My aunt said she had that problem. She lost a bunch of weight and plateaued but honestly who knows if that's really what it's from. I know alot of people say you gain on the pill or with the shot.

I almost decided to get the one in my arm but I know that the Mirena works for me and I didn't have a period and I really liked that. I don't want to be stuck with the arm one and still have a period. I know it's pot luck if you do or don't get one so I'll stick with what worked for me.
